When I was a child, knitting was a complete disaster. Once we had to make a little piece of 10 stitches, with red cotton and only knit. I hated it so much that finally my mum made it for me.

I just couldn't think at that time that I really was going to love knitting. My first attempt was when I was about 13 years old. I wanted a sweater, that nobody wanted to knit for me, so I tried it myself. It didn't work out very well, but at least I found out I liked knitting after all.

Later on, I have knitted a lot for my children until there came a time that they didn't want hand made clothes any more. I also have knitted socks but after 3 pairs of the same socks it became very boring. Nowadays there are so many beautiful patterns and yarns that I started again to make a lot of socks.

After my first trip to the USA, in 2006, I got addicted to knitting again as there where so many nice yarns and looms over there. I bought myself plastic and wooden looms and loved to work with them. Back home my oldest daughter and I decided to start selling wooden looms.

And, of course, with looms you need yarn, needles... and so craft4you was born.
